That Ain't It! Movie Trivia High Scorer: |
|
An Interview with Woodenigloo |
|
Woodenigloo was selected for the 2010 That Ain't It! Movie Trivia Hall of Fame because she was the first person to win $1 million, $10 million, and $100 million in Game Show. She was also the first to win more than $1 million in Speed Trivia. Way to go, Woodenigloo!
Tell us a little bit about yourself...
I am a trivia nut and had no one to play any games with. Then 3 months ago I bought my first iPod touch and downloaded two IMAK games and now I'm able to compete against the world! I'm not really a big movie buff; I haven't been to the movie theater since I saw Seabiscuit and my last NetFlix rental was Man on Wire. Taking that into account, I'm amazed I've done so well with the Movie Trivia!
Describe your interest in trivia...
I've always been interested in trivia. Starting with watching Jeopardy since I was young and now, with my new iPod touch 3G. Seriously, where else in life does it matter what shoe size Abraham Lincoln was? ;) |
|
What are some of your favorite iPod touch apps?
Well, That Ain't It (regular & movie) of course. I'm also into old time radio, so I like Vintage Radio Lite, and I was recently stunned by the efficiency and scope of an app called Sound Hound. I'm also a news junkie, so "News Feed" is a great app.
What's your favorite category in That Ain't It! Movie Trivia?
I love the "Classics" section.
What's your least favorite category?
It would have to be Action & Sci-Fi.
What new features would you most like to see added to That Ain't It! Movie Trivia?
Maybe a feature where you could choose the difficulty level of the questions. Maybe a feature where the players could submit a trivia question.
How many games did it take you before you won $1M? Do you have any advice to give others who would like to win $1M in Game Show?
It took me approx 200 games before I hit cumulative $1M. It took me 200 games before I hit the Millionaires Club (worth $1M on it's own) I still get tripped up on a regular basis, so my advice is to pay close attention, don't get discouraged, keep trying and enjoy learning new facts and figures (or in this case, movie facts).
