That Ain't It! 1000th Question Contest Winner:

An Interview with Bob Hagh of Shelton, Connecticut

Tell us a little bit about yourself...
My name is Bob Hagh, I am 22 years old and and I currently attend Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, CT. I am heading into my fifth and final year where I will get degrees in Journalism and Computer Science. During my time at SCSU, I have been a member of the radio station, WSIN, where I have hosted several game shows, a music countdown show, a talk show and a news program. Technology and media is basically my life, and I hope to pursue a career that combines both.

Describe your interest in trivia...

I am a huge game show fan, so I guess trivia runs in my blood! I have been on two television game shows: "Chain Reaction" on the Game Show Network and I was part of "America's Team" on the syndicated game show "Trivial Pursuit: America Plays." I was also given the chance to be a rehearsal contestant for the CBS game show "Power of 10." Like I said, game shows are all around me and play a part in my life.

With that knowledge, I enjoy writing trivia questions for fun and I play lots of trivia games with friends and family. I also have written trivia for a game Web site a few years back, where some of the questions I submitted were showcased. I even "host" my custom-made games on different forums around the net that incorporate my trivia questions for game play.

What are some of your favorite iPhone apps?
My favorite apps include "That AIn't It!," "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire," "1 vs. 100," "Trism," "Yahtzee" and "Arcade Bowling." As you can see, trivia is the winner here, but I like "Arcade Bowling" because it's a classic game we have all played in our lives, especially as kids in an arcade. I also enjoy puzzle games, or any game that requires me to think about my next move.

What's your favorite category in That Ain't It!?
My favorite category is "Science." As with one of my majors (Computer Science), I had to take biology classes, physics classes and a lot of math classes. I just like learning about the world and how it works. It's all around us!

What's your least favorite category in That Ain't It!?
My least favorite category is "Sports." In the earlier stages of the game, the sports questions are more "term" based and not people-related, so I am more confident in those questions. I am not that good with figures in the sports world, but I get lucky sometimes.

What new features would you most like to see added to That Ain't It!?
The game flows very nicely as it is. I enjoy the online submission of scores and the two different game modes. One feature that I would like to see is maybe a multiplayer option. I have noticed a lot of apps are now taking advantage of two iPhones placed side-by-side so that two people can play a game at one time. Other than that, the game has a lot to offer and I do enjoy the updates of questions to keep it fresh.
